Waterfall hunting can be a great day to spend a day out, perfect for everyone, depending on the ease of access. Promoting the feeling of tranquility, these natural beauties can be spectacular. And Thailand has some of the best that the world has to offer.
Tips when waterfall exploring:
- Like all waterfalls in Thailand, they are more spectacular in the wetter months (November to March), compared to in the dry season, the waterfalls may only be a trickle.
- Be very careful about where you step, the trails and rocks near the waterfalls can get slippery from all the moisture, and they more often than not have dangerously sharp edges.
- Wear proper shoes. Hiking in flip-flops is a bad idea.
- Don’t forget to bring a towel and dry clothes, you may get a chance to take a dip in the pools.
