The Bottle Beach Trek is a 4 km hike making it over a 2 hours to reach Bottle Beach at the end. It can only be reach by boat, or on foot, so it means that it is never crowded and holding the title of one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Phangan.

An adventurous day trip, start in the morning to enjoy the day of the beach at the end, where you will want to jump straight into the sea! The beach is phenomenal. Bottle beach is made up of lush green mountains all around and only a few people to share the beach with. With its soft white sand and aquamarine water, perfect for swimming it is a beautiful scene.

If you don’t feel like walking back, there is a taxi boat that can take you to Chaloklum. The last one is at 5:30pm. Don’t miss it, unless you want to walk back in the dark, where if you choose this way walking back, you will want to leave way before sunset.

Distance – 4 km hike, around 2hours to walk.

Getting there – In a bike, start in Chaloklum and follow the dirt road that leads you uphill from the western side of the beach. You can leave you vehicle at the start of the trek, with the signs. However if you get a boat back, you will be dropped off at the beach, so remember where you left it. The path to the beach – Bottle Beach – is marked by empty green bottles, all the way along. You cannot get lost.

Facilities – One restaurant serve food to replenish yourself after the strenuous hike. There are a few bungalows to stay, and a massage parlor.

Intensity – Fairly high, you will need water and shoes.
